As autumn approaches it’s time to get digging and turning over the soil. When I look back to this time last year we were faced with 5 feet tall wild garden. As you can see it was a desperate site.

High time we visited Old Moor again as it would be the first time since the
floods. There have been sightings of Little Egret there recently so this
is a great opportunity to see a rare bird for the first time.
The weather is not conducive though, very blustery and the odd shower.
However when the sun shines it looks a great autumnal day.
